We have chartered busses to provide transportation to all class events throughout the weekend. The transportation plan is as follows:
Friday – September 10, 2010
1000 – 1500 Continuous shuttle –
(SHARED SERVICE departing hotels every thirty minutes – on the hour and half hour
(We suggest traveling to the USNA prior to 1400 to avoid delays)
Between Spring Hill Suites / Marriott Courtyard / Residence Inn /Hampton Inn and the Maryland Inn (top of Main St) to the USNA Alumni Hall
1000 – 1545 Continuous shuttle (SHARED SERVICE) within the Academy between Alumni Hall and:
§ Midshipmen Store / Visitor Center
§ Alumni Hall for School Buses back to hotel
School Buses will provide shuttle to Alumni Hall and back to hotels
Mini-Buses will be available to shuttle throughout the Academy
1715 – 1745 Continuous shuttle – (SHARED SERVICE- return to all hotels)
Alumni Hall to Fleet Reserve Club and Hotels
1730 – 2200 Continuous shuttle between Spring Hill Suites then to the:
Marriott Courtyard / Residence Inn /Hampton Inn / Maryland Inn (top of Main St) /
***USNA Stadium Parking to the Fleet Reserve Club and return*** (see note below)
2300 Depart bottom of Main Street to the Hotels & USNA Stadium Parking
2400 Last departure from the bottom of Main Street to the Hotels & USNA Stadium Parking
Saturday – September 11, 2010
1130 – 1900 Continuous shuttle
(SHARED SERVICE – departing hotels every thirty minutes – on the hour and half hour) Between Spring Hill Suites / Marriott Courtyard / Residence Inn /Hampton Inn and the Maryland Inn (top of Main St) to the USNA Stadium and return
§ 1300 – 2000 Tailgate
§ 1530 – 1900 Navy vs Georgia Southern
Buses drop off and pickup in the North End zone / Ticket Booth Parking area
Buses will be available throughout the game in the North End Zone
2300 Depart bottom of Main Street to the Hotels
2400 Last departure from the bottom of Main Street to the Hotels
*** Note: Shuttles will be running from the stadium parking lot to the Fleet Reserve Club on Friday evening. The parking fee is $5. Please enter through gate 5 off of Taylor Ave. A good address to use for GPS or map searches is 511 Taylor Ave. Annapolis MD 21401. The Blue Angel bus stop is where the shuttle will be making pick-ups and drop-offs. Overnight parking is not permitted but towing does not start until 4 a.m
